Is she Red riding hood

I have spent hours to create curly hair for a new doll, I ran the long needle to lots and lots of 10 inches strand of wool yarn and pull the thread ( the same way you do gathering stitch). I stitched each curl on to her head. It took quite a long time for the first doll, the result is very curly hair.I love to have curly hair, whatever I do with my hair they have never be curly. At least I can make curly hair for my dolls.

The doll asked me to make her a hoody cloak similar to Red riding hood, she is going to wander in the woodland.

I learned to line the bodice by trying many ways, I found this way is very easy and will show on next post.

Bright sunny day with the bright pink hair girl

I am in a cheerful mood, I normally choose neutral colour for my dolls. I decided something different and I really like her.

Needle felted doll hair

My new doll and her outfit.

Her hair is needle felted using marino wool roving, it took me quite a while to finish the hair off.
I chose neutral colours for her blouse and skirt, I lined her blouse and her jacket.
