Mini Garden box - Felt vegetables

Ami, Easter bunny 2016

Ami is one of Easter bunny 2016, it takes me longer than I planned to crochet her. To crochet the stripes on her tights is fun but to make the perfect stripes needs lots of patience. Finally Ami's tights are perfect.


I use DMC natura cotton yarn 4 ply and 2.5 mm hook.

Ife, my sweet and soft Teddy bear

Ife is so soft and sweet 11 inches bear, I sit her by my bed side table and she looks so lovely.

Ife is crocheted from soft marion wool yarn and also her outfit.

I use forget me knot crochet pattern for her lower skirt, and I love the result. I use this pattern for baby cardigan and it also looks lovely on the tiny skirt for doll.

Wedding birds cake topper - Bride and Groom birds

I was asked to customise the bride and groom cake toppers, for me birds are symbol of love and loyalty. Between needle felting and crocheting I had to decide, I decided to crochet the birds.

Amigurumi here I come

During this Christmas holidays seasons all I did was sitting comfortably watching old films, eating lots of food and starting amigurumi.

I want to make something for my dear friend on Valentine's and I want that thing to carry the message "allow me to admire and love you", nothing is more than perfect than a little bird.

I have tried variety of yarns and many sizes, I must have crocheted about ten birds, in the end this is my Valentines bird.

He will be flying to Thailand tomorrow and I hope he will do his job well with the heart and Love charm I send with him.

Bunny Girl with her dresses

The bunny Girl, athi calls her Charlotte.

Changing from Mohair to Linen fabric, I sewn the bunny and her dresses for dressing up play.
I have changed the arm and leg pattern to bigger size. All the dresses and accessories were hand sewn and embellished. I enjoyed this set so much, idea kept coming when I was sewing each item.

The basket was hand crocheted and embellished with lace and bias binding. I went to a charity shop and found lots of Egytian bias binding (brand new) all of them are so lovely. The basket handle is a paper string which I stitched to the basket.

The chocolate chip cookies were handsewn using polka dot linen fabric and hand stitched the felt icing and beads on.
The felt icing come in yellow,pink,blue and chocolate brown.

 The cream cotton dress is stitched with pom poms.

The pink blouse and a skirt, hair accessories and a pink hand bag.

Charlotte is living in France right now.

Athi calls this sweetheart bear "ROSIE" so her name is Rosie.

Miyu and Oso

I have created this miniature bear play set with happiness. I am very delighted with Miyu, my kind bear.
Miyu is 15 cm tall and I crocheted Oso the little bear for her.

Miyu and Oso are for the play set gift for kind children who love to look after their toys.

I hand crocheted the lace for Miyu outfits, plates, Miyu is hand sewn mohair fabric, Oso is hand crocheted.

The  set will come in a handmade bag, and the surprises inside the bag are filled with love and a dress, a blouse, a skirt, a handbag, 2 hair accessories, a travelling bag for Miyu and a hand crocheted plate with a strawberry swiss roll, a sliced of chocolate gateau and a carrot cake, a line mat for Miyu and Oso.

Crocheted zipper case

HAPPY BUNNY YEAR 2011

I still enjoy making crochet patterns for my Etsy shop but one pattern is taking such a long time to think, take photo, change and undo several times. I am trying to combine crochet with sewing, I have been sewing box pouches and enjoying to make them so much, let try crochet a box pouch.

I use the 100% natural cotton yarn and Double crochet (UK), single crochet (USA) stitches , I just insert the crochet hook only front strand because I need the finished pouch to be quite thin so when I sew the edge won't be too bulky.

This is what I mean,   inside is sewn similar to when you sew the corner of tote bag.

I use it for keeping my crochet hooks. I will try to crochet this pattern using wool yarn so it is softer and try to line it with cotton fabric + interfacing to hold the shape of the pouch.

Crocheted Rolled flower hat pin

I have a request from a customer from Etsy asking for a crochet pattern, I have been making Christmas gifts for friends using lots of hat pins so I think of making a pattern that I can use with a hat pin. I crocheted with pink yarn first but my idea did not come so I picked up my favorite orange wool 4 ply yarn with my tiny golden beads and that's it, my little tiny flower with leaves. This will look nice on your jacket, hat, scarf, bag. I will list it tomorrow after I take a photo. I like to try to crochet with sashiko threads and embroidery threads.
